We regret to inform you that Ms. Ankita passed away on 24 April 2026. As per the death notification issued by the hospital authorities, the cause of death has been recorded as suicide. At present, the Embassy is in the process of completing the necessary formalities in coordination with the concerned stakeholders. However, we are awaiting the requisite documentation from the family of the deceased, particularly the duly signed consent letter authorizing the airlifting of the mortal remains to India.Upon receipt of the same, the Embassy will promptly issue the NOC and other necessary documents for the repatriation of the mortal remains to India.
